There are a lot of lessons that we can learn from it. It's not just pivotal, important history

of the United States and how it came to be. There's also a number

I've recommended this book a number of times.

Paul Revere's Ride by David Hackett Fisher that describes not just the battle, but a lot of

stuff leading up to it and some of the aftermath, as well as a play-by-play of what actually happened.

And the book centers very largely around Paul Revere,

because Paul Revere is a much more major player in the battle and everything surrounding it than

you might think. If you're, like most people, you know the poem that talks about the midnight ride

of Paul Revere. It's an important piece of history, not the poem,

the ride. The poem is pretty historically inaccurate, but Paul Revere had a very important

part to play in preparing people for the battle, and it wasn't just on the night of April 18th.

It was for weeks and months and years before.
