Trigger Warning: Sex Trafficking Sex trafficking is one of the most serious crimes in the world right now. But with so much obscurity surrounding it, no one pays that much attention to solving it. Melody C. Miller puts this topic into the spotlight by making it the central plot of her film California’s Forgotten Children. Joining Corinna Bellizzi, the Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker explains how she hopes to utilize her film as a tool to raise awareness about the sexual trafficking of young girls throughout the world. She talks about her experiences talking with real-life abuse victims and her collaboration with various organizations in putting the film together. Melody also shares tips on how to report human trafficking within your own area and the right language to use when contacting the authorities to get an apt response from them. About Guest:Melody C.
