My father was assistant chief of police there.

And, you know, in high school, we always parked on sidewalks and never in the right parking stalls and parked everywhere.

And the police officers would come and give us tickets.

I remember sitting in fifth hour and somebody came in and said, Kelly, you have a ticket on

your car.

And because they always thought, well, Kelly, you know, she's never going to get a ticket.

And sure enough, I had a ticket on my car.

And I looked at it and I thought, my gosh, how am I going to, you know.

Of course, I knew my dad already knew, but you know, you try to be a better person.

And so when I got home from school, my dad worked, he actually worked two jobs.

And I told him, I said, I got a ticket
