We're interviewing one of my really close friends,

Lois, Lois Conteritas. Lois was born and raised in Boston.

She's a daughter of Dominican immigrants.

And she is just like that person that I always go to when I have questions about plants.

She's just such an expert, but just very approachable and practical.

And so I know a lot of us during the pandemic have purchased plants.

So I figured this would be a great episode because a lot of us have purchased plants

and a lot of us are also killing plants because we don't know how to properly take care of the

plants that we're getting. So Lois is a plant stylist with 10 years of indoor house plant experience

and eight years of urban gardening experience. And when I tell you she is a wealth of information.

We talked about just the basics of which plants tend to do better in different environments.

So whether you have low light, whether you have humidity.

We also talked about the self watering systems and things to consider draining what type of drain

you should get the signs of under watering and over watering your plant.

And just the basics of how to keep your plants alive.

So this was a really informative episode. I am a plant person.
