I'm nostalgic for winter. I grew up in Rhode Island and I lived near a place called

the ice pond. We called it that because all winter long it was frozen over and

kids would come from all over and we would skate. My first pair of skates were

hockey skates, my brothers, when I was about three years old.

We spent the whole winter on the pond

or on a hill nearby sledding.

And it was just an amazing time in my life.

I look back at it with great nostalgia.
