And what I want to talk about today

is something that's just absolutely appalling.

I mean, just really appalling.

And it's a moment that occurred on Friday when Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House,

gave her weekly news conference at the Capitol Visitor Center.

And during this news conference, at the Capitol Visitor Center.

And during this news conference, she said that she had changed her position on the issue of

passing a coronavirus relief bill.

Now for months, as millions of people suffered from the

economic devastation associated with the pandemic, Pelosi Stonewalled the

Trump administration's effort to pass a targeted short-term relief bill

for those who are in need.

Now, presto, as if by magic magic she's all for it. So what happened? She was asked, why'd you change your mind?

She said a new president has been elected and a coronus vaccine is on the horizon.

It's nearing distribution.

Quote, a total game changer, a new president, and a vaccine, end quote." That's what Pelosi said. The kind of short-term relief that she had blocked for months is now okay.

Another quote,

it's for a shorter period of time but that's okay now because we have a new

president.

Okay. a new president.

Okay, as a policy, it made absolutely no sense.
