Good to talk to you, how can I help?

I've been asked to write a job description. My industry has been hit really hard by COVID-19, so it's just a fact.

Your company has asked you to write your own job description?

Yes.

Yeah, that would concern me a little bit. I don't know if I'd say it's bad, I don't know. It's definitely curious.

What do you know? What do you know right now? Is the company, are they speaking openly about how revenues have dropped tremendously? I mean, what's going on?

They are communication has been great, but they have used the word playoff. And my position is at least standard industry-wide, so the third description is pretty straightforward.

And so I'm concerned for that reason, and I've also never written one before, so I don't know what it should look like. I assume it should look like a resume.
