This week, how much inequality is too much?

Marching for equality, the Occupy Movement had taken to the streets of New York to

protest against the large wealth gap with the top 1%.

Protesters demanding better wages for fast food workers block traffic on the streets of New York and

Detroit.

Fast food workers across America soon followed, demanding a higher wage.

No wonder inequality is in the spotlight.

We are the 99 percent.

We are the 99%!

99%.

Here's why America is more unequal today than ever before. The richest 10% of Americans earn half of all of the

income. In Britain the top 10% earn 40% of all of the income. It's not just in rich countries.

A billion people have been lifted out of poverty since 1990, but inequality has been rising in places like China

and India too.

How much inequality is too much?

Many may recoil from such a question.
