Today we're going to be talking about how much your testosterone levels actually decreased as you get older.

0:07.1

So there's a lot of misconceptions in the community about, you know, what your body can actually do, biology, what, you know, the endocrine system does as it downregulates as you get older.

0:19.1

I just want to lay it out because a lot of people have this misconception that you lose.

0:24.3

Once you get to like your 40s, they think, okay, you lose 1% every year.

0:28.0

And that's kind of like the number that's thrown around as, you know, fact.

1:10.3

it doesn't matter. If you have a low free,

1:12.6

you're going to not have enough usable tea by tissues to actually support physiological functions.

1:18.6

So even though your 0.8 to 1.6% decrease in total tea is substantial in itself,

1:24.6

there's an additional 1.6% increase in sex hormone binding globulin

1:29.3

per year.

1:30.3

So as you can imagine, this concurrent drop in total test with a concurrent increase in sex hormone

1:37.3

binding globuline which is further binding up that total T in your body, imagine what that's
