Hi, this is Justin. Today on Theocast, we take on the question, how much can a Christian sin?

Or to frame it another way, how badly and for how long can a Christian sin and not necessarily be

proving him or herself to be an unbeliever? If you listen to the conversations in the evangelical

world, you get the idea that if someone

in the church sins really badly, then he or she is definitely not a Christian.

Or if he or she continues in that pattern of sin for a long time, he or she is definitely

not a Christian.

We wrestle with those questions.

And then over in the members' podcast area, we talk about preaching and the tone and tenor

of it in particular in light of these realities, and we also consider church discipline.
