Did you know that disruption reveals what is possible?

Disruption feels like a negative, right?

We don't want to disrupt the kids.

Don't want to disrupt the peace. Don't want to disrupt, disrupt. I come from a tech background and there was actually an event called tech disrupt. And it was always the big innovators, the pioneers, who would present there, who'd show up there because we're showing up to disrupt industries, to disrupt patterns. And this, my friend,

can be a beautiful thing because the human mind, right, is not designed to like change,

certainly not to dislike any disruptions. Our brain's number one job is to keep us safe. That's why it likes familiarity.

It will seek comfort. Why things that are different or new seem threatening. They seem scary.

What if disruption reveals a whole lot in your life.

If you've ever gone through a divorce, if you've ever moved country,

if you've ever had a big career change, if you've even had a big loss,

you'll know that when your life is disrupted, it's very messy, it can be very painful,

it can be very frightening. But with some perspective later,

we can see that it was necessary. We can see that there were so many seeds, so many blessings,

so much gold within that disrupt that just needed a little bit of time. It needed some acceptance and it needed our

patience. You know, it's interesting. Because I come from the tech world, a lot of the time,

right, if you work in different startups, the startups would be acquired, right? It's called an exit.

Someone purchases the company. It's actually a very exciting thing that happens. It's always

very good

news when there's an exit, when there's a purchase. But I observed in my experience that when that

happened, the last setup I worked for was bought by AOL. A lot of people were scared. They're like,

what's going to happen at AOL? What are the people like there? What are the offices like? Are our
