Hey everyone. This is Dorenda Wilson. Welcome to this week's podcast. If you don't know me

already, I am married to Daryl, and we've been married for 28 years. We have eight kids, ages 13 to almost 27,

and our two oldest girls are married, so we have four grandkids. Now, out of our eight kids,

five of them are boys, and three are girls, so we definitely weigh heavy on the boy side of things.

But we've also been homeschooling for over 22 years.

So one of my favorite things to do, and the thing that I really believe God's called me to do,

is to have a ministry that encourages the hearts of moms and homeschool moms.

My message is really just to encourage moms to slow down and listen for the Lord's

voice so that they don't end up anxious and overwhelmed because we all know that happens way

too quickly, doesn't it? We really want to listen to the Lord's voice and for his direction in our lives.

And instead of being confused and overwhelmed by the countless other voices that are

out there.

So that's really the heart of this ministry and the heart of my desire to encourage.
