Well Dr Leif, thank you so much for having us. You know, it's when we're talking about minimalism,

it often starts with the stuff but our material possessions are a physical manifestation of what's

going on inside us and the reason I've been looking forward to having this conversation with you

is because yeah, in our homes we have a lot of excess things. We all know that. In fact,

the average American household has 300,000 items in it, which would be great if it brought us more

joy and contentment and happiness and peace and inner quiet but quite often what's happening,

that's a manifestation of what's going on here. If I've got a lot of excess clutter in my life,

it probably means I have a lot of mental clutter, emotional clutter, spiritual clutter,

psychological clutter, calendar clutter, relationship clutter. There's a lot of clutter that we
