Hi, everybody. Welcome back to Gilmore to Watch with Tara. I'm Tara. I am doing a little solo episode today because it is Galentine's week. It's one of our favorite weeks here on the podcast. If you guys have been with us for a while, you know that we love celebrating a Gilmore Galentine because what's more for the girls than Galentine's Day? It's also Valentine's Day, of course, Palantines Day, if you're hanging out with more than just your gals.

And it's just a week to embrace your friends, embrace your loved ones, your lovers, and we love to do that with all of you.

So we're going to have a little conversation about rom-coms this week on the pod.

But before we get into that, just a reminder, as I mentioned,

it's Galentine's Day. And every year, we love to celebrate with you. We are doing an event

in Orlando on Friday. So if you got tickets to that, we cannot wait to see you. We're so excited.

It's going to be so much fun. By the time this episode airs, I will be leaving tomorrow for

Florida. So I'm really, really excited. And then if you are not coming to our event on Friday,

don't worry. And even if you are, we're doing our fifth annual Gilmore Gallantine slumber party.

It's a digital virtual slumber party, which we do every year, and that will be on Saturday night.

chances are you watch Gilmore Girls all the time, probably year-round. And even if you don't,

like, this is really the time to kind of like get a cozy blanket, get your favorite snacks,

get your favorite pals, and watch a good show like Gilmore or watch a really good rom-com.

Now, I'm not sure how much I've talked about this on pot. I know that I've talked about it on

Patreon, but I am having

a rom-com year. And it's not just because I'm getting married. It's also because I really want to

write my first rom-com this year. And so it's like a little like 2026 goal of mine to really dig

into, of course, the show that we talk about week after week and like discover kind of the romance

and the comedy that's embedded in that but also in the timeless classics that we all know and
