Welcome to Getting Curious. This is Jonathan Vines and before we get started with this

0:07.3

week's episode, I have a quick little caveat to this one. I'm trying to find the words

0:14.2

because it is still very hard. Our guest this week is Hannah Shaw, who is the Kidn lady,

0:21.4

who is an incredible advocate for kittens everywhere. And we recorded this episode the week

0:27.1

before the accident with Bug the Second. So we have been sitting with the episode for

0:32.2

a few weeks and we are so proud of the work they had it does. And we are so excited to

0:38.6

share this episode. So without further ado, we love you all so much. Rest in power, Bug

0:44.1

the Second, and enjoy this episode of Getting Curious.

episode of all time. Welcome to Getting Curious. Hannah Shaw, author, advocate, cat advocate,

1:05.6

people advocate, person I'm obsessed with. Thank you so much for coming. Hannah. Hi.

1:22.4

like a bobcat running around the streets of LA? These guys look really fancy, but I can

1:28.2

tell you when I got them, they looked anything but fancy. They're four weeks old now. I've

1:33.0

had them since they were a few days old. And when I got them, they were completely

1:37.2

crusted with fleas. Like when I tell you the first bath, I gave them the water ran red

1:43.0

with blood from them being so eaten by fleas. So they look really fancy now, but that's

1:47.6

because they got the kitten lady treatment. Where did they, where did they come to you from?

1:51.5

These guys came into a shelter here in the LA area and they were born underneath a wheelbarrow
