| 0:00.0 | This is an I-Heart podcast. |
| 0:04.0 | You were telling me about our great victory over the Chinese. |
| 0:07.8 | Why don't you summarize it to the people joining? |
| 0:11.3 | The great leader has brought us the fruits of prosperity with an art of the deal of veritable Picasso, a Rembrandt, a Da Vinci, all put together like a super |
| 0:27.7 | piece of art. Yeah, this is where we've got to get better at putting this in simple terms |
| 0:34.2 | for people that still believe this guy is good at anything. Like, listen, |
| 0:38.9 | so China, you know, we have this trade war. China says we're not going to buy any soybeans. |
| 0:44.9 | So it creates all this pain in the farmers. Brilliant move on China's part. So now they go to |
| 0:50.6 | negotiate. And what does Trump get in his deal? |
| 1:00.2 | Trump gets China to buy the soybeans they were buying before the trade war, and on top of that, |
| 1:06.1 | to sweeten the deal, Donald Trump offers them advanced AI chips, which is the thing we were holding from China so that they could not compete with us on AI. |
| 1:10.3 | Now, Navidia gets to export their high |
| 1:12.9 | quality AI chips to China so China can compete with AI. So we end up actually China has agreed to |
| 1:19.9 | buy a little less soybeans than they were buying. So China ultimately is buying a little less |
| 1:24.5 | soybeans getting AI chips and agreeing not to hold rare earth minerals |
| 1:29.6 | for one year. And that's it. Keep in mind, the U.S., we have tons of rare earth minerals, |
| 1:34.0 | and I think people need to think this thing through. The problem is we have mining regulations that don't |
| 1:38.6 | allow us to get them. So I think that is a longer-term conversation. But, yeah, the art of the deal was the art of the complete collapse and capitulation that he will sell as a win and his 35% of people will gobble it up. |
| 1:52.0 | It sounds like another incredible victory for the leader. |
| 1:58.4 | That's right. |
| 1:59.2 | That's right. |
| 1:59.7 | You know, look, I mean, if all you have to do is capitulate in a new deal, you can be the greatest dealmaker ever. If like, you know, look, if you and I wanted to make a deal and I said, hey, I'll tell you what, Steve, I'll pay you $500 to enter a deal with me, and that's it. |
