I'm your host, Corey Muscarra, and in today's episode we're going to talk about how life gives you what you want in an often twisted way.

More to come on that in a moment. First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. I'd like to read you a quote by a woman named Tracy McMillan.

She says, there's a saying,

you ask for patience and what you get is a line at the bank.

In other words, life doesn't give you what you ask for.

It gives you the people, places, and situations

that will help you develop what you've asked for.

So this is going to be a short episode.

My encouragement to you is to look at the things that you're asking

for in your life right now. The things you most want, you're striving for, you're

praying for, you're meditating on, you're trying to manifest.

And instead of dwelling on the fact that these things haven't happened, look around you

at the people, the places, and the situations that you're currently experiencing

and ask, how might these things be helping me develop what it is I've asked for.

Regardless of whether life or the universe or some higher power is actually putting these things in your life to help you get what you want.
