0:38.6	right? I mean, that's the goal of every one of our episodes. We're going to be talking about
0:42.2	something that will ignite your growth, stretch your capacity, and raise your level of influence,
0:48.9	which is our goal as we level up, especially as leaders in this space. It's a topic. I think it's a great
0:57.9	topic as we approach year end. So what we're going to be talking about today is the importance
1:03.2	of setting goals and following through as a leader. So like setting the goal and then living
1:09.9	in your word and following through because
1:12.9	here's the truth. Average people wish. Leaders set goals. Average people hope, but leaders
1:21.2	commit. And goals matter. Like they really matter. Goals are not just checkboxes. Like,
1:27.4	oh, boop, set a goal, set a goal.
1:29.5	What they are is they're declarations of your leadership. When you set a goal, you are boldly saying,
1:37.1	I am willing to stretch. I am willing to grow. I am willing to lead myself first. And so when we have goals, everything changes.
1:48.8	Our energy changes because we're excited. We're excited about our business. We're excited about our future.
1:53.2	We're excited about our vision. We're excited about where we're going. Our focus changes.
1:58.5	Our conversations change. Like you don't have time for small or negative conversations because you won't only
2:03.9	have conversations that are lifting you up and are solution-based.
2:07.2	It changes our level of influence.
2:10.0	A leader without a goal, it's just like a ship without a destination.
