0:13.0	At one point in time, Jordan Peterson was a well-respected clinical psychologist. His work and research analyzing different aspects of personality

0:19.5	With over 100 published peer review articles, he was renowned as one of the utmost experts on personality, politics, and all cognitive psychology.
0:31.0	But suddenly in 2016, everything seemed to change.
0:35.0	The once respected psychologist was now appearing on news streams, videos, and his own YouTube channel.
0:42.0	His past calm and mostly academic type demeanor seemed to shift rapidly
0:47.5	into anger and contempt. So what happened that made him so mad?
0:53.0	Well, Canada passed Bill C16,
0:56.0	which added the words gender identity or expression
0:59.0	to the existing legislation protecting people from discrimination.
1:03.4	This is a message to all Canadians that we live in a time where discrimination in any form is completely unacceptable.
1:15.6	Basically, the new legislation protected people from discrimination by others like work or school
1:21.6	based on their gender identity.
1:24.0	It also added gender identity to the list of attributes that can be included when charging a hate crime.
1:30.0	And that's it.
1:32.0	But to Jordan Peterson, this was evidently the end of the world, the collapse of society, and the first of the four horses.
1:40.0	Peterson almost immediately began to appear leading protests on the University of Toronto campus centered around the idea of freedom of speech.
1:50.0	With Bill C16 and surrounding legislation,
1:53.0	it's the first time I've seen in our legislative history
1:55.8	where people are attempting to make us speak their language.
1:59.2	As Peterson drones on and on and on about the importance of free speech,
