Let's go to the Lord in prayer again.

Father, we come before you in the name of your son.

Lord, we're so small.

No matter how long we've walked with you, O God,

still appears to be so much sin,

so much of not being conformed to the image of Christ.

Lord, we need the O God. Lord, will this just be another day where people sit?

So many words, so little power, minds wandering.

Lord, or will you help us?

Will you help us?

In Jesus' name amen I've lived a long time I've lived a long time I've preached for 42 years

there was a time if someone came to me and said, I love Jesus. I love the Word. I truly do,

but I don't think I'll ever return to church again. I'd rather stay at home and read my Bible.

There was a time when I would have thought that that person was not a Christian.

But I've been through so many battles in my life that there have been times with my own wife that we've sat there and go.

We love Jesus, but I'm not sure I want to return to a church.

We all know that in churches there can be evil men,

women, but then also, when we're truly, truly honest with ourselves,

and I want you to be, when you walk out of here today,

what are you going to take with you?

I mean, honestly, what truth that transforms? Even in my

own life and ministry, sometimes I just sit there and go, is it just words and words and
