During today's conversation on back porch theology, we're continuing our sizzling summer

series with more hang time on the porch with our favorite biblical culturalist,

it's not a cool fancy title, Professor Christy McClellan.

Christy's first visit to BPT was so revelatory and resonant that we begged her to come back

so that we could keep swimming in life-giving passages like Genesis 2 and Luke 8 and Roman 16,

all of which proved the significant, not subjugated, the significant role, women play in biblical

narrative in Jesus incarnate life and ministry, as well as in Apostle Paul's ministry and

the early church's mission to share the living hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the

world.

And since this is a part two kind of message, and this episode complements the one before,

kind of like Caso does chips, they're much better in tandem, it behooves you if possible

to listen to last week's episode, what God says about women first, then grab a ginormous
