more than you have when you're feeling stressed. For nearly 20 years, Jesse Jones has delivered

solid consumer advice and come to the rescue for people caught up in a scam. Now that he's

leaving Cairo, he's here to reflect on his TV career and offer tips on how to

avoid bad deals. I'll talk with him in a minute, but first, let's get you caught up.

Later today, Washington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs will certify the November election results.

Democrats control every statewide elected

office and increased their majority in the state house. Governor Jay Inslee will be on hand

at the state capital for today's certification at 1.30. We'll drop a link in the show notes if you

want to watch it live. Speaking of elections, the natural gas initiative takes effect tomorrow.

Voters approved I-266, which rolls back the state's efforts to transition away from natural gas.

Opponents say they're planning to challenge the initiative in court.

They say it violates a state law that limits initiatives to a single subject.

And keep your eyes peeled, the number of speed cameras in school zones in Seattle are going to double.

The budget recently passed by the city council added $1.2 million to add the cameras.
