News of the plea deal taken by Hunter Biden, after nearly five years of investigation,

is serving as a political Roershack based on party affiliation.

For those on the left, Hunter Biden's plea, which will see the president's son copped to

misdemeanor tax and gun charges, is evidence of the integrity of the criminal justice system.

The criminal justice system today under the Biden administration, not the one under the Trump

administration, and demonstrates that no one is above the law, including the son of the president

of the United States. But for those on the right who have twisted themselves into apoplexy

over what they see as a corruption protecting one of its own.

Now, leading the charge of naysayers was former President Donald Trump himself,

who couldn't wait to bash Biden and draw attention away from his own predicament,

if even for just a few moments. Wow, the corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up

hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere traffic ticket.

Our system is broken, Trump posted after the plea was announced on his untrude social.

And Trump's rivals in the Republican nomination fight join Trump as well in performative

outrage, making similar corrupt system claims.
