1:08.4	When we scan the landscape of American politics, we notice that there is very effective action
1:21.9	taking place at the state level. I'm thinking now particularly of two states, Florida and Texas,
1:29.6	which are really two of the largest, if not the largest, red states. The governors,
1:36.1	but not just the governor, the lieutenant governor, the political establishment in the states seems
1:46.9	to be moving on multiple fronts. It seemed initially in Texas that Greg Abbott got a bit of a slow
1:54.8	start, at least in this term. He got battered a little bit because he had a mask mandate on not
2:02.2	for that long. This was the very beginning of COVID. Then he decided, we thought better of it.
2:09.9	The mask mandate disappeared and it's never coming back. Of course, in Florida,
2:15.6	DeSantis went full-bore and decided we're not shutting the state down at all. We will deal with
2:23.3	the pandemic. We will take the measures we need to. We will provide the treatments that we need to,
2:28.4	but we are not closing off economic activity and we're not going to stop people from going to
2:34.3	churches, none of that. It turned out, I think, in retrospect to be the right call. DeSantis has
