For most of our audience this week has been filled with news about Iran, with the launch of the

U.S.-Israeli war there and Iran's retaliation. But in the backdrop, there has been another battle

brewing, and that is between the U.S. government

and one of the biggest AI companies in the U.S. Anthropic.

The company refusing to give the Pentagon unrestricted access to its AI technology.

The company says it's concerned about the potential of fully autonomous weapons without human involvement.

President Trump now banning Anthropic from all federal agencies.

And then, Open AI is in the mix, too, a place you used to work.

The kicker, though, is these two conflicts aren't separate stories.
