So, apostasy in the scriptures in the New Testament in particular,

oftentimes is associated with departing from the faith altogether, a rejection of Jesus Christ.

I think one place that gives us a picture, well, there are a number of places,

but one place that gives us a picture of apostasy is what the author of the Hebrew says in
