named Susan. The question I have today is, is it correct for us to bow to people in authority above us in our local government?

This question came to my mind because of the recent death of Queen Elizabeth and how all of her

people in her country curtsy or bow to her when they meet her each day.

And I wondered if that is appropriate for us as a Christian to bow or curtsy to royalty.

That's a great question.

I think it can be appropriate.

It reminds me, Bill, recently with my kids, I watched the I Love Lucy episode where she is visiting

the Queen or she's in England and she thinks she's going to see the Queen. And there's this

whole episode about her learning how to curtsey before the Queen. It's so good. And so, right,

like in circumstances, like, it's just paying, you know, proper respect.

I guess your question is, is that idolatrous or evil?
