More war or a peace deal?

The two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran runs out Tuesday, April 21,

and Donald Trump is now threatening to destroy every power plant and every bridge in a country of 90 million people.

Iranian government negotiators are characterizing Trump's proposals as unsurious.

We need a new system.

We need a new society.

We need to demand that which may have sounded impossible even a few weeks ago, but is not

The senior Iranian official who spoke to the drop site news source said that Donald Trump

effectively lacks a coherent plan and the capacity to secure even a temporary

agreement. Iran's lead negotiator has said plainly that his nation has brought a superpower

and its ally, the Israeli regime, to a standstill.

And a senior Iranian official has told the independent media outlet, drop site news,

that if the war resumes, Iran will cut off all diplomatic channels, stop all negotiations, and impose

significantly greater costs on the United States. And Iran's parliamentary speaker, the one who is

leading the Iranian delegation to the negotiations in Islamabad in Pakistan,

went on state television and said,
