Summary

Episode 258: Nat is back with another solo episode! She starts off the pod with a realization that she’s been in Miami for (almost) the entire month of March, which is the longest stretch she has been home in months. Then, she dives right into the topic for today: staying motivated! We’ve all been there; it’s totally normal to have periods of your life when you are not feeling it. Luckily, Nat walks us through tips and tricks she uses to stay motivated, such as consuming content, recognizing things that make her excited on a daily basis, and the importance of taking time to step away from work (because rest is important!!). Nat talks about how she and her friends keep each other motivated and inspired, and how surrounding yourself with like-minded people provides validation, motivation, and encouragement to continue pursuing your goals. Finally, Nat talks about “reverse engineering” to accomplish your goals, how to take that first step, and the importance of “finding your why.” If you’ve been struggling with staying motivated or just need a few extra tips to keep in your back pocket, today’s episode is for you! 0:21.0

Hello everybody, welcome back to the real real podcast with me Natalie

0:26.5

Barboo in today's episode I'm bringing it back with the solo episode we

0:30.6

haven't done solo episodes in a really long time and it's because I had so many

0:35.2

wonderful guests lined up. So I hope that you guys like the episodes with the guests. I really want to like step up my

0:41.2

production game on the podcast. I feel like the solo episodes are fine, like being

0:46.5

chill here, but honestly, my dream, hopefully this can get done by the end of this year is to have my own like little studio whether

0:55.3

it's inside my apartment or it's in my office I feel like in my apartment would be

1:00.0

best though just in case we ever decide to like move offices it's not going to be

1:03.9

affected so ideally it would be inside my apartment the thing about that though is

1:08.2

that I feel bad asking guests to come to my apartment because I live kind of far in Miami like I don't

1:16.8

live in like a central part of Miami and so asking people to like drive to come to record for my podcast would be kind of annoying.

1:25.7

So that's why it works with my office because my office is like a very central spot.

1:29.4

But I would love to have my own podcast studio.

1:31.0

So let me know if you guys prefer when people do have

1:33.9

studios and watching them because I have this thing where whenever I am

1:39.2

like interested in something or something like I for example I'm

1:42.1

interested in long-form content right now. I am obsessed with podcast I listen to probably like at least like 12

1:48.2

Podcast every week like I am always listening to podcast I'm going on daily walks in the morning now and so I usually

1:56.4

go on an hour long walk and on that hour I always listen to one podcast so that's like

2:01.3

minimum five times a week I'm going on that
