Advice on getting YouTube videos to go viral.

Ever use ads for the videos, trying to get a music video to go viral.

Well, if your music is really good, it'll get views and plays.

And if it's not, it probably won't.

You can pay to promote it so you get more followers,

but maybe your music is just not that good.

Come up with a new song.

I mean,

a prime example is one of my favorite bands called Stick Figure.

And so this particular guy, it's kind of like reggae, slightly stupid, if you ever, they're

a really great band that I love.

Kind of like reggae and rock, hey, quiet, type of music. And what this particular guy did is he wrote his own music. He did all the singing. He did all the guitar parts. He did all the drum. He did all the keyboards. He did all the bass. Then he would combine it and mix it and put it on like YouTube videos and Spotify and everywhere else and his music is fucking amazing and

so people liked it people shared it and it went viral and then his album sold a lot and he

had such a huge following then he decided to go out on tour but he didn't have a band because

it was just he was a one-man band so he hired musicians to go out on tour with him and play the parts that he had come up with.

So, you know, you can pay to promote your music, you know, set aside a budget that you can afford

to show it to other like-minded people that will subscribe to your channel. But, you know, again,

if not enough people like it, you're going to lose money probably.
