going to talk about. But I always like to start at the beginning, which is if you could

just briefly tell me the story of how you first encountered Buddhism and what was going on

at the time such that you wanted to start chanting them, your Hōdingekio.

Yeah, totally. So actually, so my parents started practicing independently. They met and then they had me.

And so like that's kind of how I was like encountered Buddhism.

I don't remember when I literally first started chanting because my parents were doing it.
