My experience with micro Greens. I think you know by now if you're a frequent listener that I'm big on the

micro green game I love them I think they're one of the best things that a new

gardener can grow I think they're extremely nutritious but why why am I obsessed with them?

Why is Kevin so obsessed with micro-greens?

Well, it's because they hold kind of a special story

in my entrepreneurial development.

As you know, I've been growing plants for probably about eight years now in varying levels of seriousness.

And about four years ago, I stumbled upon micro-green so I bought just a classic kit I believe it was

from just growing micro-greens.com I'm not sure if they're still around but I grew some really

unique varieties red garnet amaranth purple corrabi and these were

visually striking microgreens and I found them first of all to be quite

delicious but as soon as I saw them I thought you know what I bet that I could sell these I bet that restaurants would buy these and I think it's because when I looked at them I noticed

Hey, I've seen stuff like this on my sushi rolls. I've seen stuff like this, you know,

garnishing the top of my soup or next to my entree is a nice little salad.

So if I've seen them on the plate, someone bought them to put on the plate and

someone grew them and sold them to put on the plate. I can be the person that grows them and

sells them. That was my thought. And so what I did is with that kit,

just the one I bought off the internet and grew,

I went out, I got a nice haircut,

I put on some decent clothes, and I called up my cousin and I said,

hey, why don't we just try this? Why don't we just see if we can sell some micro-green?
