And I think sometimes our goals fall apart because again we really don't align them with anything bigger,

but we also don't assign value to the action steps we can take to help us get to the things so you might be

praying for new financial goals relationship goals maybe you want to move across

the country or cross the street across the city I don't know you just have things that you want to do

but if you're like most people you set goals on January 1st and by

December 31st you're like it's another year that is going to definitely by December 31st you're like it's another year that has gone by

and you have not actualized what it is you say you want.

Now I'm all for praying about the things that you desire,

but along with the praying, we need a little preparation.

We need a little planning.

And one of my clients in Mastery Momentum just asked me recently about how I prepare for what I am praying for.

And it really led to this conversation about how much we do and then how much do we create space so that God can do what God needs to do.

And I want to say this first. I truly believe that many of us have very empty prayers.

I'm gonna just keep it real with you. The reason it feels like we are going in

circles and spinning in these cycles of confusion is because yes we should pray without ceasing but many of us are

praying for things we honestly could just do ourselves like I'm all for pray for the

big and the small but some things it's really just a matter of us not getting intentional and being

disciplined about what we say we want. And so I want to get us off the hamster

will of hoping, wishing, and dreaming and not putting any works to the

faith that we say that we have because we've all heard, faith without works is dead.

So this is not about you trying to replace God in any way. I just

believe in giving God something to bless and I believe that sometimes there is a
