| 0:30.0 | So like many millennials, I had a lot of student loan debt. |
| 0:35.0 | I actually paid off just over $100,000 of student loan debt |
| 0:40.0 | that I finished paying off last year in 2022. |
| 0:44.0 | And I've been meaning to do an episode about it, |
| 0:48.0 | but what I didn't expect from paying that off is how much, |
| 0:52.0 | kind of mentally and emotionally that was going to stir up for me. |
| 0:56.0 | And so it's taken me a little while to be able to actually talk about it |
| 1:01.0 | and process it. |
| 1:03.0 | And a lot of that is because my college experience was really traumatic. |
| 1:08.0 | It, I think, was not to the best four years of my life. |
| 1:13.0 | I know for a lot of people that is, and it did have some really beautiful parts, |
| 1:17.0 | but overall was really, really tough. |
| 1:20.0 | And after I graduated, I think I buried a lot of that, |
| 1:24.0 | a lot of just the trauma that I'd experienced both socially and financially |
| 1:28.0 | from experiencing, trying to pay for it. |
