And today is like the epitome of this series, because I'm talking to Jay Pinell of

Now, I don't want to spoil everything that Jay Penel did to get to where he's at today, but I do have some history working with him.

We were pseudo-co-workers sort of at least working for the same company back when I was at NASCAR seam, and he was doing some sort of work for the sports business journal.

Then when I was at SB Nation, brought him on to help me a little bit.

We didn't have much money at the time, but I just needed some help, and I thought he'd be a good one.

And then he asked me to write the forward for his book that he wrote three years ago called

So I do know Jay.

We are friends, full disclosure, and all that.
