Now, our pastor has been teaching a very powerful series entitled Clarity.

And in the vein of the teachings that he has already set forth in this place,

I want to embark upon lesson number six as it pertains to clarity and your subject is how high can you think? How high

can you think? I've learned this that one of the most powerful positions that a person could

ever walk in is a position wherein we choose in life to respond. Not react, but respond. They're separate and distinct. distinct when I respond I am led by the spirit of God

I recognize that there must be an answer there must be a resolution there must be

confrontation but I do it from the position of responding and not reacting. I understand the devastation of

reacting. It is when I am ruled by my emotions and ruled by my feelings and ruled by

situations and circumstances and it always dishonors God and it glorifies the devil.

I will respond. I will not react. God has done

something for us, his church. He has given us his mind, his words, so that we know how to think.

The Bible is presented to us as a fragment of the mind of God. Certainly it could never house

the entire mind of God, but he does give us the insight, the illumination, the word that is

essential to how we think. God wants us to think correctly. And critical to our progression in life is our ability to think.

One Greek word for this word, think is noyo. N-O-O-E-O. It means to perceive. It means to understand, apprehend, it means to grasp. God wants us to know how to think.

To think, it also speaks to dokea. It means to form an opinion. God wants us to know how to think and pay attention to think correctly. To think

correctly we must have clarity. And God is all about us understanding. He's given us his word as

our guide, as our compass, as our blueprint our blueprint it's our roadmap and we dare not

neglect the word that God has said before us the goal for this morning is to teach us how to fix the

mind fix the mind on the instructions of God what What did God say? In this church, in this house, the only

thing we ever have to share with God's people is what did God say? Not our opinions, not our

preferences, not New Age, and not humanism and not ideologies and philosophies of men, but what did the word of God say and to give you a correct interpretation of what God said?
