Technically, I've been doing this for 22 years now.

A few decades ago TV was appointment viewing.

And if you wanted to watch a particular show you found out what it aired and that's when you

watched it and if it came on at 8 p.m. on

Thursday night you had to sit down in front of the TV at 8 p.m. Thursday night and if you

missed it you could see it again three to six months later when they re-ran it

and you had to be sitting in front of the

television at 8 o'clock on Thursday night because that's how they rolled.

It sounds positively prehistoric. I tell my children about about what it was like watching television when I grew up and they were horrified.

They're absolutely like it's like I'm describing like having to live on the tundra and like

eat shoots and leaves. How did you do it dad? And then along came Netflix and Netflix changed everything. For millions of
