All righty, welcome again to Gun Talk.

We're going to have a hot time in the old town tonight. We've been doing a lot of

really interesting things. You know that old Chinese curse? May you live in interesting times? Well, it's been an interesting week. That is for sure. We'll give you a lot of details as to go along.

By the way, I'm Tom Gresham and the show is Gun Talk. Glad that you could be here. We're going to talk about, well, guns, gun rights, of course, new guns, maybe old guns, and we love those range reports if you've been out doing a little shooting or you bought a new gun.

We would love to hear about that. We'll get some updates on what's going on in the gun rights world as well and if you remember

and I'll get to this in a minute but just a quick touch on it last week as I was doing the show

I was talking about wow I can look out at the lake and we got these

firefighting planes going down in the lake and scoop it up water and they're

flying way back behind us and they're trying to put it on the fire. Well, they didn't exactly get hold of it.

So we were evacuated on Thursday, haven't been back there. Our house, the fire got to within,

I think it's about 400 yards away from the house right now. And the firefighters are in there working on it.

Who knows? Might make it, might not. But we'll be talking about evacuation plans and what do you do with your gear, your guns and gear and everything else a little bit later on.

A lot of interesting things happening for sure.

But speaking of gun rights, there are, as you know, quite a number of different, well, a few really major ones, gun rights organizations.

And a lot of times there's a lot of thought about, well, these are in competition with each other, and to some extent they are.

But I think to a larger extent, maybe to the point where people don't really understand it,
