Fendran Suaves Juvias.

Silvana's first solo album, Marchita, catapulted the Mexican singer-songwriter into the global spotlight,

earning her a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist.

But that same year, at the height of professional success, tragedy struck,

when Silvana's close friend and his brother were murdered in their home.

How are you doing? I'm great. I'm just so excited. I've been working on this new album for so long, and it's crazy that it's going to

finally see the world in a couple of weeks. So I'm just, you know, happy and proud because it cost

me a bunch of energy and effort and like a little bit of sacrificial, you know. Of course.

Well, and also I think when you release the first album, you don't know what to expect.

Yeah. But when you release a second album, you don't know what to expect. Yeah.

But when you release a second album, when your first was critically acclaimed and won awards and allowed you to play out stadiums,

there has to be a different set of expectations that comes with the second album.
