| 1:13.7 | mowed the church lawn and kept everything neat and tidy, would that get me into heaven? |
| 1:17.6 | And the kids are like, no. You see, what about this? What if I'm kind to animals and give candy |
| 1:24.3 | to children? Would that get me into heaven? |
| 1:29.2 | And then the kids are like, no. |
| 1:32.6 | And he said, well, then, how can I get into heaven? |
| 1:34.8 | And the kid in the back stood up and said, |
| 1:36.6 | you got to be dead. |
| 1:42.3 | Anyway, now, you know this, |
| 1:43.8 | because you're part of this statistic. |
| 2:18.6 | Most Americans believe in heaven. Most Americans believe in some sort of afterlife, a good place, you know. And most Americans, maybe because we're Americans, most of us believe we're going there. And there's a lot of mystery, a lot of questions, you know, a lot of, I'm not sure, and I don't know about, and don't ask me to explain it too much, but there's just this general sense that there is something beyond this life, and we refer to it as heaven, and it's a good place, and we just assume, you know, we're going to go there. And most of us, or most people in America, so the United States especially, are confident. It's just going to work out. |
