So quite incredibly, Brock Lesnar has been doing professional wrestling for around about 25 years.

You have to remember, he debuted in 2002, did it for a few years, then kind of gave up because he didn't like it anymore, became the UFC heavyweight champion, and then came back and even then it's been like 15 years. So as far as our Brett Hart-inspired series, we do rate and review professional wrestlers.

Brock Lesnar's come up on the agenda, mostly because we all thought he retired at

WrestleMania 42 when it turned out he was lying to us, which is quite the spin. But I guess there is pro wrestling. If you have not seen what these videos in this series before, we look at looks, we look at promos, look at in-ring skills, and a bunch of other stuff, and we just rate them out of 10. Now, it's completely subjective. to make what I think is not going to be what you think.

And also, a lot of what I'm going to tell you today

comes from the hide mind of what

culture. I am just been the guy who's been rolled out to do it, but that is fine by me. Anyway, let's talk about it. How good was Brock Lesnar actually? So we start with presents, look, and presentation, and we can do that old thing that people always say, if you were going to draw

a professional wrestler on a piece of paper, you would probably draw someone like Brock Lesname,

and old age I've got bored of that saying now, because it all depends on what you want. One day if you wake up and you want flippy-dipidoo-dooder wrestling, don't draw Brock Lesnar. The point is though if you want to convince somebody that pro wrestling is on the up and up, you want to get them with k fabe of course you want someone like brook he could be one of the most

intimidating figures who has ever entered the world of sports entertainment. I mean, it's flubbing ridiculous. He's not even that tall of a guy compared to some professional wrestlers. It's not like he's six for eight, but he is a solid six three, maybe even six four, but even there, he's just so wide, he's just so thick, and it's

the way he looks at you, man.

You saw him down in the dark out, you'd be like, oh my gosh, he's going to rip my head off. He looks like a monster, and do not forget, he also was an NCAA Division I heavyweight champion in wrestling, which gives him legitimacy too, and even to go back to round one of Brock Lesnar. People still thought this, but the fact he did go away, and he won that UFC World Championship Belt, well, for a good old while, and arguably still in 2026, he just had so much legitimacy to him, because you had seen him do it in the real world, so in the world of wrestling, well, that just kind of adds up, doesn't this? He's also got that incredible theme song, which does tie into presentation that he's kept since 2002.

Not only does it have the beat, the sort of suit brought Lesnar's Walk, but it also kind of feels like a sense of foreboding. Like if you are in the ring, you're probably pacing around, go, well, this isn't going to be fun, is it? He's going to grab me and throw me around. And even if I did try and fight back, there's not a lot of I can do about it. Even the way WWE used Paul Heyman over the years kind of ties into this.

Because if you watch how Paul Heyman used to walk up with Roman Range, it was all very subservient. Like, oh my gosh, my tribal chief. When he rocks out there with Brock Lesnar, they both walk with a certain swagger because again, they are coming to end the day. So really it all comes down to the fact that if it's not broke, don't fix it, and even his name, Brock Lesner.

Can you imagine if WUWE tried to give him

like an NXT name in 2006? That would be absolutely redonculus. So I'm going to give it a 9.8 out of 10. But only because I'm leaving 0.2 of a score, just that we can have a little bit of fun, but yes, I totally get it. Brot Lesnar walk into any company over any era, any time,

and he would be pushed to the top. I mean, he'd have to have his working shoes on too. From a purely visual perspective, it's quite frankly ludicrous. Which brings us to promos, which is actually quite hard to talk about here, because of course for the majority of his career, Paul Heyman has cut promos for Brock Lesnar. As I am recording

this, there was a segment to build up to SummerSlam, 2006, between Oberfemi and Brock Lesnar. And Brock Lesnar wasn't even there, because as ever, WWE just uses Paul Heyman and his surrogate, and Paul Heyman says all the words. And the week before that, what did Brock Lesnar actually say when he finally did turn up to the show? We all know, Oba, I ain't good at talking. Now, listen, you do have to give props to WWE, because way back in 2002, Brot Lesnar was correct and his strong suit wasn't talking on the microphone. So putting him with Brock Lesnar allowed him to hide his weaknesses, and that's what we should be doing with all professional wrestlers. You push the strengths and hide the weaknesses. But also, actually, if you do go through the last couple of decades, there have been some times when either Paul Heyman wasn't around, or brought Lesnar to suddenly he did want to talk. And actually, he's been half decent. It's not like he was totally terrible at this from minute one until minute now. After a while, I think he found his own voice, understood who he was as a performer. So yeah, that promo when he said he was going to make

John seen a pissed down his leg? I mean, they are a certain choice of words, but it got people talking. It's also come and ties into UFC as well, which I do think is important because go and watch the promo that brought Lesnar cut on Frank Mir after Frank Mirr, you once again genuinely believe he wanted to kill this guy, which of course is the magic when you are trying to sell a fight. You want people to go, oh my gosh, I need to see this. And again, that did sometimes copy and paste over to WWE. I think it just kind of ties in to the way that Brock Lesnar's always seen professional wrestling. If he can kind of chill out for a little bit and he can't just give a microphone to Paul Heyman, while he stands there and look tough, that's what he's

going to do. There was some range here as well, though, because let's not forget when he won the money in the bank briefcase, and he found out that poor Hayman had sort of lied to him about how quickly he did have to cash it in. He was very funny too, and that's what we've got

Boombox Brock, so the whole thing was kind of comedic. So I think you can slap a five
