I don't need someone else to ask about Josh Manson again.

It's fine.

Last week during the series, somebody had asked about, like, asked the same exact question two days in a row. And it was just like, we don't need this much availability. It's really not that deep. For what it's worth, Josh Manson, not on the ice. I practice today. So, yeah, still kind of waiting on that, which. He's not going to, right? He's not going to practice. If he's going to play in the next series, he's just going to roll into morning skate and be like, I'm Josh Manson. Like, that's what I expect, especially considering how hard he went into the boards and where it looked like it kind of got him. I'm like, if he doesn't, if he's not ready for game one, like I won't be surprised. Have you all ever had rib injuries? Yeah. Yeah. Oh my God. They suck. They're awful. You know what I've never had, though, is Tor at all. So. Well. Duche. I have also never had it. It seems like it would be awesome, though.

A couple different things we want to kind of start getting into today. But first, a bit of news, more on the awards front.

Yeah. The Lady Bing finalists were announced today.

A couple different people in my comments specifically talking about how Josh Manson was not part of that conversation.

That's fun.

Yeah, right?

That's a very good joke.

But yeah, I don't know.

Not something we really expected the abs to be involved in.

I've long been a hater of voting awards in the NHL and all of that stuff.

But Nathan McKinnon has a lady Bing, and I think that's all I need to say about the legitimacy of this award.

Do you know how much water I took the year that he won that? And I was like, this is a joke. Yeah. And there were people, like, and it's always abs fans, of course, who were like, you just hate the abs. You're a hater. You just don't like anything. And like, you're just so mad all the time. And you're just in such a negative person. And I'm like, this is a sportsmanship award. And that is not something he has exhibited one day of his entire career. Are you kidding me? Like, okay, so we didn't have a lot of penalty minutes one year. And they were like, well, he's not going to win the heart. So let's give him something. Let's throw him a bone. And that bone was in the shape of a trophy that he didn't need to have. And looks, we're going to go back at the end of his career and be like, what? And how did he win this? You know, that's what he won? Logan O'Connor brought this up at practice yesterday, too, and talking about voter fatigue. Yeah, for sure. With awards like that, too. Very true. That was a very interesting comment to make.

Voter fatigue is something we talk about every year with like, oh, do people, this is

why I think Celebrini was a finalist for the 10th year.

Because they were, everybody loves Celebrini.
