He wrote for his mom, Ronda.

I remember the first day you took me to that school.

I was afraid, but you helped me be brave.

It's all in the mother's love.

You had a wonderful tribute to moms everywhere.

John, I really enjoyed the conversation that we started last time with Ronda and Brandon,

talking about the ministry of motherhood and the power of moms in the lives of their sons.

And how do moms help their sons grow into being men?

It's a great question.

I'm sure most moms listen, they want to do that for their sons, right?

It's a natural thing to want to do.

Ronda, last time talked about getting engaged with wiser older women who can help calm you down

on those oppressive perspectives.

Jean certainly had those moments with Trent and Troy, where she would call a girlfriend and say,

okay, are your boys doing this?

And she'd later assure me, yeah, I think it's okay and others are doing this.
