Father and son were climbing a mountain, and then they came to a place where the climbing was so difficult and even dangerous.

And the father asked the son to wait while he investigate the road ahead.

But halfway through this treacherous road as the father gingerly navigating, he heard a voice that made him freeze in place.

And the voice was that of his son right behind him saying, choose the good path, Dad, I am coming right behind you.

I think of this one thing parents can be sure of it is this, that their children are following

in their paths.

Their children are watching where they're going and following them.

Whether we like it or not, it's a fact that our children are watching what we do more than what we say to them.

And if our children see us to put our trust in God, they're going to grow up putting their

trust in God. If our children see us to be contented and to be at peace with God, to be thankful to God for all the blessings that he's given us, our children are going to grow up to be contented and to be at peace with God, thankful to God for all the blessings that he's given them.

If our children hear us speak the truth all of the time, they're going to grow up

speaking the truth all of the time. When our children see us say the same thing to people's faces

as we do behind their backs, they're going to grow up to do the same. Please hear me right.

When the Bible talks about generational sin, as far as I am concerned,

it does not necessarily mean something genetic as much as it is a learned behavior. Abraham

lied about Sarah, his wife, not once but twice.

What does Isaac do?

He lies about his wife, Rebecca, in the same fashion.

The grandson, son and grandson Jacob, lied to his father, Isaac.

Lying has become a generational sin in that family.

Why?

Because children and grandchildren are watching their parents, they are watching their grandparents, and they're seeing what they're doing
