views women. Now, I want to share an example with you and this is from years ago. It was about a

decade ago and I was at church one day and I was talking to this woman and I can't even remember

the context of the conversation. But I'll never forget something she said to me. She said,

well, I just need to be leaning into my husband because he is leaning into God. And I thought,

well, can't you just lean into God yourself? Like in my mind, this seems so odd that she felt like in

order to get closer to God, she had to get closer to her husband because he was getting closer to God.

And I didn't really understand this because I thought, well, I think you can just get close to

God yourself. You can lean into God yourself. And then like, what about the women who aren't married,

like, how are they supposed to get connected? The whole thing was just weird to me. And to be honest,

if I'm totally honest with you guys, a judge there. I did. I kind of looked down on that like,

that is so ridiculous. Lean into God yourself. You don't need to go through your husband. In my mind,
