In the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon lamented, there's nothing new under the sun.

Well, some have taken that to literally mean that they never can expect or believe for something new.

But that's not supported in Scripture.

If you look at other places in the Bible, God's always up to something new.

In fact, he himself says, see, I'm doing a new thing. Do you perceive it? I will make a way in the

wilderness, rivers in the desert, which means you could miss it. And I've referenced this passage

multiple times on this show, but it's one of mine that I just keep returning to in In Jeremiah 17, verse 7, God led me to when I was so sick and so weary in battle.

And it says, this is my paraphrase, blessed are those who trust in the Lord, who've made the Lord their hope and their confidence.

They will be like trees planted by streams of living water.

Their roots go down into the water.

Their leaves stay green.

They're not bothered by the drought. They don't fear long months of drought or the heat.

So these different elements, seasons change. They're not impacted by those because they're planted

So I kept going back to that again and again.

But I found my soul getting just withered in the waiting.

And so the Lord bumped me back to verse 6 and had me look it up in multiple translations,
