The human heart longs for freedom, but sometimes we go down the wrong path to find it.

For your sake, no, for the sake of your father, David. But I will tear it out of the hand of your

son. However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will

give one tribe to your son for the sake of my servant David, not your sake, and for the sake of Jerusalem

which I have chosen. I love Zion. I love that city. I love the people I love your father I love you Solomon and I know

what's best and I will not raise up any memorial for your defiance.

What does the Lord do? He raises up human adversaries.

And then they are named.

Hey Dad, mentioned in verse 14, and then Rezan mentioned in verse 23.

Headad and Rezan were two men who became enemies of David.
