Well, let's open the Word of God then to the 15th chapter of the wonderful gospel of Mark.

We all understand the importance of the cross, the priority of the cross, the wonder of the

cross, the miraculous nature of the death of our Lord.

And we also are very well aware of the resurrection, even though we haven't arrived

yet at it in Mark's Gospel. We understand its massive and eternal implications. Those are two

very, very significant marks in the life and ministry of Christ.

There is one, however, in the middle of them between the cross and the resurrection that

is equally monumental, although it is usually overlooked.

It is the burial of Jesus. Maybe you've never even thought about that. It had human
