Just before we get going on this show for this week, you probably know at this point that the show is powered by listener support and listeners like yourself and as well as some advertising.

And it's been really great.

I mean, you know, we're so impressed and so grateful for the listeners that have supported

the show, and it makes all the difference.

We need the support to make the whole thing work to allow us to be able to produce the show

and put as much work as we do into it.

And I'm not sure if you remember but a while back I was talking about some problems

that we're having with our main computer and we've been sort of vacillating

with replacing this for a long time but it's a Mac and it's quite expensive and

we've had all kinds of problems with it I I mean the track pad doesn't work, the power

cord heats up and almost melts it and there's plugs that don't work on it. And then most

recently our firewire connection to our interface, which we're renting because our interface died a while ago,

also failed.

So the thing has really been falling apart.

So just at the point where we think we're backed into a corner here.

There's a fellow named Scott McQueen who comes out and sends me a message and says he's got a

Macbook that's similar to the one we've got it's a couple of years newer and it

works fine and he'd like to donate it to the show which he did and he sent like to donate it to this show, which he did and he sent it to us and while it's because of Scott McQueen that you're hearing my voice now because I don't think the other computer was going to last even another week.

So the timing was beautiful.

I just want to say, Scott, thank you very much.

I really appreciate that.

And it's made a huge difference.
