It marks one year since the murder of George Floyd. At the hands of former police officer Derek Chauvin

who was now convicted and awaiting sentencing. Today so many media outlets are discussing and covering the murder and the subsequent

protests that took place around the country.

And I do want to echo one thing that has been said over and over again

but then I want to talk about something else I want to talk about this from a different perspective the The first thing I want to say is

that George Floyd did change the world. I want to play this audio from his

daughter, Gianna, Giana Floyd.

And she said this, it's a very short clip,

but she said this just days after her father was killed.

And I do want to affirm to that little sister that your
